Laszlo proposed to Teagan in the Grand Bazaar in Egypt, a place they stopped to visit on their way back to Australia. He told her they were going to find a ring she loved, and he was going to ask her to marry him, so she frantically started looking in all the stalls to find a ring.
They found a white gold band studded with diamonds, and had to barter for it. Teagan never imagined bartering for her engagement ring, but found it so exciting and hilarious. On the way back to their hotel, Laszlo proposed in front of the Pyramids.
After they returned to Australia, they bought a stunning champagne solitaire diamond on a white gold band, and used the ring bought in the Bazaar as a wedding ring. The couple married 18 months after their engagement, and had a second wedding in Hungary so Laszlo’s family could attend.
