The table centerpieces were delicate green vines surrounding tea lights which flickered gently. The creative couple made their own place cards, which were short bread cookies shaped in the guests’ initials. They then iced the guest’s name on to the cookie. These doubled up as delicious favors. The guests were entertained by a harpist as they ate.
Tanya and Edward opted not to have a traditional top table, choosing instead to be seated on a sweetheart table for just the two of them, so they could look out over their guests and intimately discuss the details of their special day together. Tanya felt that guests felt more comfortable approaching them, as there wasn’t an imposing top table.
