Shevaun & Anthony's Real Wedding

Shevaun & Anthony's Real Wedding - The Ceremony

The Ceremony

Anthony and Shevaun became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony at Red Scooter. Jon Von Goes was the wedding celebrant, who is also a local radio host, so he was ideal to lead the proceedings.

He opted not to use a microphone, so the 140 guests had to gather in close, creating a more intimate atmosphere. As the acoustics were really good in the Red Scooter ceremony room, no one missed a word.

The ceremony was unique and funny, and included jokes and laughter, which was perfect for the couple who included a bug zapper in their proposal! The bride walked down the aisle with her father to ‘Song of the Siren’ by This Mortal Coil, and she and Anthony exchanged rings bought from Rutherfords, where they’d bought the antique engagement ring ten months before.

After the couple were pronounced husband and wife, it was time for canapés!
