Sarah arrived right on time for her ceremony, but noticed some guests still arriving! They had to pull over for five minutes to delay her entrance.
Mark and Sarah’s civil service took place in the ceremony room at Red Scooter. One of the couple’s closest friends conducted the ceremony, and her partner was a groomsman, making the ceremony very intimate and personal.
As Sarah’s father had sadly passed away not long after the couple got engaged, the bride’s mum walked her down the aisle to her dad’s favourite song, ‘Why Worry’ by the Dire Straits. The ceremony was emotional – even Mark, a typical Aussie bloke, was affected by the emotion, but as such a close friend was conducting it there were lots of laughs too.
