After the wedding meal, the bride and groom cut into a four tiered wedding cake, which had been airbrushed gold and covered in white sugar peonies. The cake consisted of a red velvet tier, a classic mud cake tier, a banana and white chocolate mud tier and a delicious caramel mud tier.
The incredible cake was made by the bride’s mum and was given out in cake boxes for the guests to take home. After the wedding cake was cut, it was time to party! A DJ recommended by Red Scooter played a selection of hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, which got everyone dancing.
After the wedding, Mark and Sarah jetted to Vanuatu and stayed at Irirki Island. Sarah was desperate to make her honeymoon her first trip overseas, whilst Mark wasn’t too keen, so a compromise saw them go abroad but stay close to home. It was so relaxing – the perfect way to begin married life!
