The couple and their guests got water taxis to the Island Hideaway where their wedding took place. They were married in the Beach Chapel at 4pm. Santina and her bridesmaids arrived early so they could get ready.
Santina walked down the aisle with her father to Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’, before meeting Tim at the altar. Along with their celebrant, the couple selected some readings and lit the unity candle along with their son to formalise the fact they are a family of three.
The couple exchanged rings, Santina’s was custom made to match her sparkling engagement ring by Diamonds International, and Tim bought his from an independent jeweller who made it to order with a single diamond.
The ceremony space was decorated with white balloons and paper lanterns, with bunches of baby’s breath attached to the end of each pew.
