Guests took their seats at long white tables, decorated with glass jars and bottles filled with brightly coloured flowers. Rebecca bought all her wedding flowers from Manly Emporio to save money, and laid them out herself. She chose rich coloured blooms that looked like they were handpicked from a garden, which suited the laidback venue style. At the end of the night she was handing out jars of flowers to the guests as farewell gifts.
Each guest had an allocated seat, marked out with a place card that Rebecca made herself. She hand stamped each of them, and found it oddly relaxing! Their wedding was full of personal touches, including jasmine and magnolia candles, and a vintage style suitcase for cards. The couple displayed photos of their parents and grandparents on their wedding days, and Rebecca also carried a photo of her mum, who sadly passed away, on her bouquet as a way of keeping her close.
