Rachel and Tim agree their wedding reception was the best night of their lives, a really happy and fun filled night that everyone loved. And as most of the Newlywed’s friends and family had never met each other, it went off better than they could have ever imagined. There was a brilliant band, The Ben Smith Band, playing all night, except for the first dance when a friend of Rachel’s sang At Last, by Etta James. At the end of the first dance Tim dipped Rachel down to the floor and they received a huge cheer!
Rachel and Tim received an enormous amount of help from friends and family who helped with decorations, floral arranging and the music. The venue owners were also especially helpful as Rachel had once worked there. The reception decor was very beautiful tying in perfectly with the vintage theme. Black birdcages with a pillar candle inside completed the look, while the loose bunches of fresh white flowers in vases brought some of nature inside the reception venue. Rachel and Tim gave homemade chutneys to their guests as bonbonnieres.
