Nikki and Tauseef planned to marry in Clark Park, but wet and stormy weather meant that wasn’t an option. Tauseef was still keen to do it, reasoning that everyone had umbrellas, but in the end the ceremony took place indoors at the Kirribilli Club.
Nikki walked down the aisle with her dad as ‘First Day of My Life’ by Bright Eyes played. The bride carried a stunning bouquet of white peonies and chrysanthemums arranged by Designs by Boo Shi.
The couple wrote their own vows, and Nikki remembers that Tauseef’s were ‘perfect’. After exchanging their personalised vows, the couple swapped rings. Nikki used her grandmother’s ring, whilst Tauseef’s was bought from Michael Hill Jewellery.
