The couple first laid eyes on each other at a Country Black Tie Ball in September 2008. They had been together for two years and nine months when Christopher popped the question as they made their bed at home together! They had been talking about their wedding plans before that, and both agreed they wanted a year long engagement followed by a spring wedding.
That discussion, coupled with the fact they’d already picked out an engagement ring nine months before, obviously encouraged Christopher into asking that all important question!
Once it was official, it was all systems go as the couple gave themselves a year to plan the perfect wedding. They decided to marry at Jimbour House in Queensland, and invited 95 of their closest friends and family members to share their day with them.
