Melanie hired a professional makeup artist to do her wedding makeup. The bride looked stunning with a subtle smoky eye with defined lashes, and a pretty pink lip.
A friend who used to work as a hairdresser styled Melanie’s hair. She opted for an up do, taking inspiration from vintage 1940s and 50s styles, with curls at the back. Even though she thought she would never wear a veil, Melanie found herself sporting a headpiece made by Hilde Heim from stiffened lace from her dress, and a full length veil, which she decorated herself with Swarovski crystals.
She finished off her beautiful wedding day look with an amethyst necklace that belonged to her grandmother.
