Marnie’s dress was made by a friend of her mother’s, Gloria Angwin. She had tried on about 15 different wedding dresses before going to Gloria, and whilst she liked elements of each one, she was yet to find the perfect dress.
Getting her wedding dress custom made allowed her to pull together all the things she loved from other wedding dresses, to create one dream wedding dress! Marnie’s wedding dress was made from textured ivory silk with a French lace overlay. The silk dress finished in a sweetheart neckline, covered with lace, and had a scalloped hem. Gloria made an ivory belt to go with the dress, and Marnie bought two sash embellishments from Etsy, one for her and one for her sister.
Her bridal style was completed with a veil from Karen Willis Holmes and shoes from Alan Pinkus, customised with rubber hearts stuck onto the sole.
