Katie and Brad’s wedding ceremony took place at Katie’s parents’ house. The bride walked down the aisle with her father to The Five Satins song ‘To the Aisle’. Katie carried a large red bouquet of artificial roses, in a ball shape. The timeless flowers were arranged by family friends.
Celebrant Jill Strong conducted the civil ceremony. It was short and simple, as the couple wanted the main focus to be on the celebrations at the reception. Everything ran smoothly, except for when Katie tried to put Brad’s stainless steel and gold ring onto his right hand!
The bride used her great-great-grandmother’s 22ct gold wedding ring, which dates back to 1898 and is incredibly special to Katie and her family.
