Dieter and Grazina had two wedding cakes at their evening party! A rustic looking, two-tiered cake was provided by the Lake House and was later bagged up into hessian bags for guests, and a traditional tower of sakotis created by Grazina’s parents was also on display.
For the evening party, the newlyweds had hired a band called the Fat Cats as they felt live music would really add to the party atmosphere. The couple did an unusual first dance, combining a rumba with a waltz to the remixed version of Lana Del Ray’s ‘Young and Beautiful’. Dieter chose the song as he loved it in the Great Gatsby movie.
After their beautiful spring wedding, the bride and groom stayed on at the Lake House for a mini-moon in one of the off-shore suites, enjoying gourmet meals and spa treatments, before returning to real life as husband and wife!
