Grazina & Dieter's Real Wedding

Grazina & Dieter's Real Wedding - The Outdoor Ceremony

The Outdoor Ceremony

Dieter and Grazina’s wedding ceremony took place outdoors at the Lake House. The bride walked down the aisle with her father to an instrumental version of ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri, played on a cello and piano.

As Dieter said his vows, the local kookaburra decided to try and sing along, getting louder as Dieter tried to compete with him! This had all the guests laughing together. Two readings were given before the bride and groom exchanged engraved wedding rings, and music from the Twilight soundtrack played as the couple signed the register. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Tracey Patterson.

The grinning newlyweds exited the ceremony to a song composed by Grazina’s grandfather, Mecys Kymantas, called ‘Puikios Rozes’ (Fine Roses).
