Both Fiona and James’s wedding and their wedding reception were held at Banjo Paterson’s Cottage in Gladesville. It’s a beautiful golden sandstone building, surrounded by landscaped gardens which overlook the water.
The couple fell for the venue as it was close to home, and they loved the relaxed vibe there. The fact they could host both their wedding and their reception there too was also a bonus. There was no set theme or colour scheme for the wedding, although the stationery and bomboniere were aqua, as were the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Guests enjoyed a cocktail menu after the wedding, which included prawn and cuttlefish noodle boxes, herb crusted lamb cutlets and peking duck pancakes, amongst other delicious dishes. This was followed by an amazing hazelnut and nougat ice terrine.
