The wedding reception took place at the Summit Restaurant, Mt. Coot-Tha. The couple chose the venue for a number of reasons, including the great service and food and the amazing view. The newlyweds and their guests were able to watch the sun set across the city skyline as they enjoyed drinks and canapés after the ceremony.
Elizabeth and Chris decorated their wedding reception venue with a cranberry, rose and ivory colour scheme and used lots of soft textures to give a romantic, dreamy feel to the room. Each of the tables at the reception were named after places the bride and groom had visited around Europe, accompanied by a picture of them there. They also gave each of their guests a jar of Elizabeth’s gran’s amazing homemade jam with a spoon that read ‘Spread the Love’.
