Chantel went dress shopping with her mum and tried on around 15 dresses. However, this marathon dress session only helped her determine what she didn’t want for a dress. Her mother saw a girl try on a dress that was everything they had ruled out – it was the wrong cut, the wrong material and very ruffled…but it turned out to be the one! Chantel was delighted with her Elianna Moore dress from Adelaide Brides and Bloom! She wore her mother’s pearls as her something old, and her sister-in-law’s veil as the ‘something borrowed’, completing her look.
The excited bride-to-be had two bridesmaids. She chose her mum to be her maid of honour, and her best friend of 19 years was her bridesmaids. The girls wore pink and purple chiffon dresses, put together by a local dress maker, and they accessorized with silver starfish necklaces, which matched Chantel’s subtle starfish theme.
