To get to the ceremony at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney both the bridal and grooms parties went all out with colourful vintage kombi vans! Driving round the streets with music pumping was exactly the kind of fun entrance that suited Amanda and Chris. When they eventually arrived at the cathedral the couple were lucky enough to have the local priest from Amanda’s home town of Griffith come all the way to Sydney to do the service which meant so much and made the ceremony even more special. The exchanging of the rings was a particularly precious moment because of the great effort and time both the bride and groom had put into their wedding rings. Working with the experts at Grew & Co, they merged together Chris’ great grandmothers gold wedding band and his grandmothers’ white wedding band so that there are layers of different colours showing the different generations, finishing with his choice of platinum. Amanda’s ring was just as beautiful, forged from the grandmother’s engagement ring with white gold and pave diamonds around the band.
