Adam and Alison first met eight years ago whilst at a local pub in Bicton. The instant attraction was mutual and the couple exchanged numbers. The next day Adam took Alison for lunch down by the Swan River in Applecross.
Adam planned the perfect James Bond style proposal in order to ask Alison to be his wife, after six happy years together. The inventive groom-to-be arranged to pick his girlfriend up on her family’s boat, on their six year anniversary, for her to be taken to the river at Applecross. On board, Alison discovered a chilled bottle of champagne, but Adam was nowhere to be seen. She could hear a motor running in the distance, and to her surprise she saw Adam riding a jet ski. He jumped on board and proposed!
He used a South Sea pearl pendant and necklace in place of a ring, so they could choose the perfect engagement ring together that weekend.
