Getting Married in St. Kitts & Nevis

To marry in St. Kitts or Nevis, you need to obtain a marriage license. You also need a valid form of photo ID (such as a passport or driving license) and your birth certificate. If you have never married before you need an Affadavit confirming your single status, and a decree absolute if you’ve been divorced. If you’ve been widowed you will need to present a copy of your deceased spouse’s death certificate.
If you want a religious Catholic ceremony, you must have evidence of taking marriage counselling sessions and signed documentation from your parish priest.
The license fee for a St. Kitts wedding is $200 (XCD), and the Justice of the Peace may also require a fee.
