Grenada Overview

Granada is referred to as the ‘Spice Island’ for its production of turmeric, mace, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. With the most southern location of the Windward Islands, it boasts a rugged mountainous interior, a coastline of bays and some of the friendliest hospitable people. Water sports are plentiful on the abundance of secluded beaches. Granada is a traditional and tranquil retreat away from any cosmopolitan and busy distractions. The island has seen extensive restoration following hurricane Ivan in September 2004, with trees and plants now flourishing.
