Wednesday Wedding Want: Flourishing Favours
A wedding is all about you and your future spouse, and
celebrating the love between you.
It wouldn’t be as much as a celebration if your friends,
family, nearest and dearest weren’t there to share the day with you, however.
It’s important to show your appreciation for their attendance, well wishes and
gifts with a small token – a favour or bomboniere.
I love looking at wedding favours, the more unique the
better, and that’s why my Wednesday Wedding Want this week is the amazing
Flourish Bomboniere. Flourish Bomboniere was created when owner Liz Young was
searching for original and special gifts to give to her guests. She wanted
something that would last – not be eaten or thrown away, so she decided to give
plants, as they could live on in the recipients’ home or garden.
Liz’s husband’s job as a horticulturalist combined with her
two decades worth of experience in events and hospitality meant it seemed only
natural to turn their favour idea into a business, after the overwhelmingly
positive reaction the gifts generated.
They now run Flourish Bomboniere, which offers a unique
service: “All plant creations are made by hand and are wonderfully presented
using quality materials” says Liz. “We have over 10 varieties of plants
available with the most popular being the gardenia and the romantic flower-
lavender. Only the best plants are selected from our growers with a great deal
I’m such a fan of these stunning favours, and love the idea
of a gift that keeps on giving! Don’t you?
