Team hitched Visits Tuscany Wine Estate

by zoe@hitched

Recently our global MD headed over from the UK to spend a week with team hitched down under, and we were tasked with showing him as much of hitched Australia as we could…it was a busy week but we had so much fun!

The highlight of the visit was going to see one of our incredible Hunter Valley wedding venues Tuscany Wine Estate. We arrived at the rustic resort on the Sunday afternoon, and the lovely wedding coordinator Belinda showed us around, pointing out the many options for a wedding at Tuscany Wine Estate.

The view from where the outdoor ceremonies take place...

Imagine this sunset forming the backdrop to your wedding photos...

The scenery is absolutely breath taking – you can stand overlooking the vineyards as you say your vows, and even arrive by helicopter for the ultimate entrance. The venue is perfectly located to make a weekend of it – arrive early and enjoy a wine tour ahead of your wedding, or relax in the luxurious rooms overlooking the olive groves and outdoor pool.

I can’t say enough about the delicious food on offer at the venue. Even the chips we snacked on in the bar ahead of our wine tour were out of this world (I can’t stop thinking about them!). Our evening meal was perfect – an amuse bouche of kangaroo loin with beetroot, followed by a variety of choices, each sounding more delicious than the last. I opted for quail terrine and chicken pâté, followed by chargrilled scotch beef fillet. We pretended we were too full for dessert, until we saw the dessert menu…chocolate soufflé with a chocolate fudge shot, jelly bean ice cream and marshmallows was the winner for me.

We’re a pretty greedy lot but we even agreed to share some of our meals so we could all try each other’s. I woke up the next day thinking about the beef!

My amazing meal at Tuscany Wine Estate - tell me you don't have food envy!

If you’re considering a wedding in the Hunter Valley, we can heartily recommend Tuscany Wine Estate – the location, staff and particularly the food were unreal! Stay tuned for another post about our wine adventures in the Hunter Valley and what we discovered...
