Jess and Phil chose a beautiful setting to get married, outside at Treasury Gardens. With the worries about the weather, the couple made a last minute contingency plan and hired a marquee days before the wedding, which turned out to be a very good idea! Personality was the most important factor for their ceremony, starting with their celebrant. Annette from Perth was an old friend of Phil’s and played a huge part in giving this part of the day a personal and intimate flair. Jess and Phil also chose to incorporate three readings within their ceremony, one of which they wrote themselves to show the amazing things they’ve done separately and together but that nothing compares to being with each other. The song that Jess walked down the aisle to, an instrumental version of ‘Home’, complimented those sentiments perfectly with a verse that particularly stuck out to the newly-weds; ‘Home is wherever I’m with you’.
