Turks and Caicos

Couples wanting to get married on the Turks need only be on the island for 24 hours before they can apply for a Marriage Licence. They will need valid passports and birth certificates as well as a sheet detailing both names, addresses, ages, marital status, occupations and the name of the father. Also, proof of church membership will need to be supplied if planning a church wedding. The marriage is solemnised by a Marriage Officer and the licence coasts just US$50.
